2007 Parador Napa Valley Tempranillo
Not that many Tempranillos outside of Spain, that's for sure. The ones that are worth mentioning are an even smaller cluster. Then there's this super outlier way over here in a tiny little slice of pie called Napa Valley. And Steve Ventrello's passion for Rioja is clearly evident. This is outstanding! A terrific, exemplary version of Tempranillo, showing clear pedigree and grape origin, along with the noble richness that is inherent to the terroir of Napa. What a classy, classy effort Steve!
