2008 Frias Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
The wine starts off with explosive grapefruit and candied lemon peel in the nose, with hints of guava, fig and gooseberry in the background. On the palate, this zippy wine displays the tangy acidity which keeps the wine lively, while also coating the mouth with the concentration and richness of a round white wine.

2008 Bravante Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Great stuff just has a way of elbowing it's way ahead of the competition. I sure hope other Sauvignon Blanc producers that have been waiting their turn patiently don't see this page. Bravante's 08 SB crashed the party late and stole the show for SB's under 20. Nicely delivered, Bravante SB is a terrific all-around white that begs for a Nicoise Salad or a crabcake with garlic aioli.

2009 Ziata Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Karen Cakebread's making her own Sauvignon Blanc! Named after her grandmother, this Sauvignon Blanc is a delicious, lengthy, complex white. The zing is still there, but the soft glow of California sun compliments it, along with an unmistakable flinty hint towards the finish. I do believe this is better than the 2008, if you can believe that! One of our house wines all summer!!!

2008 Jericho Canyon Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
I didn't get to write much of a tasting note for this because I just wanted to drink the glass! Pens & papers just get in the way when a wine this good crosses your lips. Gorgeous, full-bodied, almost luxuriously refreshing white. Suffice to say, add a bottle of this or more to your Favorite's day order and Tom promises that you will enjoy this white beyond your heart's wildest dreams.

2008 Modus Operandi Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
