Shipping Policy
Warm Weather Advisor: If it gets too warm, we try to avoid shipping your wine. If for some reason you suspect a delay or are worried about warm-weather shipping, please contact us to see what options you have. We can occasionally store wine for future shipment.
Our shipping rates include the following services:
- UPS/FEDEX approved styrofoam or biodegradable boxes
- Product Handling & Packing
- Breakage Insurance
- Shipping Rates are subject to change without notice.
- Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Expect orders placed after business hours to take two days for processing.
- Orders can be shipped the same day (if wine is in stock), but you MUST place your order directly at 800-331-1311 and the order MUST be completed before 12.00PM that day.
- We very very rarely ship over the weekend. FedEx Overnight orders placed during business hours on Friday will be held and shipped out on Monday unless you contact us directly to approve weekend shipping.
- Based on state availability, shipments will be handled by GSO, UPS or FedEx. Most orders are shipped via 2-Day service.
- Wine shipments require a signature, at the time of delivery, from someone 21 years or older. No wine will be delivered to a visibly intoxicated person, and any person unable to produce age verification forfeits their right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances, the order may be held in storage at a local depot until appropriate identification is produced, or it may be shipped back to Saint Helena Wine Center. All costs associated with product returns due to unsuccessful delivery attempts will be charged to the customer.
- Orders are shipped following credit card authorization. In cases where orders include wine and merchandise, the wine will be shipped separately and shipping fees will be combined into one total amount.
